WELCOME TO SCHOOL MANAGER! In order to get work on School Manager, one would first need to know what options there are and which one to use. This help will explain all the options one can use at the Web-Center (www.schoolmanagerja.com). From the main view, which is the first view that one gets when using the Web-Center, the following options are available: Parent/Guardian View Student Details This is the option that Schools, Teachers, Parents, Guardians and Students use to look at student details. These details include marks/grades, fees, book assignments, sanctions, commendations, lateness and absence. Teachers and other school officials will be able to choose from a list of all students from the school. Parents, Guardians and Students will see the details for the concerned student only. Persons wishing to access student details must use the login and password that was provided by the school. School Applications This is the option that is used by prospective students to apply to the desired school. Home Work Access This is the option that students will use to access homework and other assignments. Data/Information Requests This is the option that will be used by persons who were granted access to view details about the education system. There are two types of users - Micro Level and Macro Level. Micro Level users will have detailed access to education information. Macro Level users will have summary access to education information. Users must use the login and password that was provided. School's/Teacher's Work This is the option used by teachers and school officials to do school work. The functions at this Web-Center are similar to those used at the schools' desktop School Manager. Teachers and other school officials must use the same login and password used at the Schools' desktop version of School Manager. View Universal Codes This option is used to get a list of the translation codes that each school will need to update its desktop School Manager. These translation codes are used by the Web-Center to standardize its data in regards to what each school is doing. This standardization is necessary for accurate inter-school data analysis. Help With Desktop School Manager This option is used to access help in regards to the desktop version of School Manager that the schools use. This help is a compliment to the one already available with the desktop version.
